Hi everyone!

So were here on week four already, that was fast. God has been doing what he does best in the last four weeks. I don’t even know where to start. I guess i’ll just give you a little update on how i am and if you have any questions you can email me jasebeard@gmail.com.

Lets just say this Circuit Riders school caught me by surprise. Haha, i mean when your school motto is “The Lamb is going to receive the reward for His suffering” you know its going to be a bit crazy. We’ve been super blessed with all of the teachers that have come and who are to come. The first week we had Andy Byrd, this guy lives by the motto “The Lamb is going to receive the reward for His suffering” amazing, real, and passionate man for God.

Week two we were all rocked by Dr. Brian Brennt, this man is all about teaching and then having us stand up and practice on one another. For example, teaching on the gift of prophecy (hearing from God and asking what he wants to say to someone.) It was amazing to hear about what to do and how to do it and then actually do it haha, EX. i prayed for this guy in my group, I asked God what he wanted to say to him and i heard the word “pastor” so i asked the guy if he ever thought about teaching in front of people or maybe pastoring and this guy said “I was a pastor back home.” One of the first times for me to actually sit down and ask God for a word for someone. Brian Brennt told us the first time he spoke that he “doesn’t have time to baby sit and teach us the basics, this school(CircuitRiders) is for people who are already on fire for God and who want to see a revival, because there isn’t anymore time.” haha when i heard him say that  i was like “YEAH LETS DO THIS!” (little cheese line for ya) so he’s(brian) a pretty raw, hilarious, and definitely ‘out there’ kind of guy. One thing that stuck with me that he said was we are all square pegs, meaning, we have a hard time fitting in with the world and not only the world but in the “christian world” as well. We don’t fit the usual mold as “Christians” we are Circuit Riders, I advise you to read up on what a “Circuit Rider” is, look up the man John Wesley for an example. I’ve always felt like there was something more to following Jesus than to just go to church on Sundays and sing songs and listen to a sermon. I’m not blaming the church, i wouldn’t be where i am today if it wasn’t for the church and my Dad. But the church can only help you out to a certain extent, its your choice to either walk in faith or to walk out in religion (religion: to walk out in rules and regulations/just do church one day a week.) It was my fault not to take the choice of faith. God’s grace led me here. I’m in a place where God has been preparing me my whole life to get to. We’ve had other speakers but i don’t want to bombard you with text, so I’ll just name them for ya in the order of when they spoke, and a link about who they are. Search Circuit Riders in iTunes for the Podcast. Its the one with the image of the man on a horse.

Loren and Darlene Cunningham(founders of YWAM) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loren_Cunningham

Ray Hughes http://selahministries.com/ .

Jackie Pullinger http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackie_Pullinger

And Last but not least next week our final week we have Lou Engle http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lou_Engle .

Worship has been ridiculous as well. Incredible musicians who have a perspective of a ‘new sound’ of worship. Laura Hackett was one of the ones that flew in From IHOP (International House of Prayer). She not only flew in to lead us in worship but now she’s running with us in the school and then going to Orange County with us for our outreach. Along with other amazing worship leaders who are from campus.

(Sorry for the novel, i just had to catch you up. Won’t be as long next time promise.)

As for me and how I’m doing, I’m great! God told me to go to Orange County to run with about 100 other Circuit Riders (from this school) I’ll be there for two weeks but most of the other Circuit Riders are planning on staying there long term. The idea is to start another “Jesus Movement” a revival in the OC and then head East towards D.C. I leave here August 15th and get back on the 28th. After that God has told me to staff a Discipleship Training School (DTS) called Community Transformations (Commtrans) http://www.commtransdts.com/ That starts late September.  Coming to YWAM I was planning on doing a School of Biblical Studies (SBS) but while being here I felt led more to Staff a school rather than study more. Not that studying the Word isn’t necessary because it is, its the most important thing to do as a follower of Christ. I just felt like God was telling me to walk out in faith and learn the Word while preaching it. Walk out what i have been learning during my last 23 years and show others the love that God has shown me. It’s all about Him, not my ability to be more knowledgeable. hope that makes sense.

Well there’s a little synopsis for ya of whats been going on in the last 4 months. Again if you have any questions feel free to email me jasebeard@gmail.com or call me 325.280.8677. thanks for reading. Love you
